We mill pine and hardwood products to various standard lengths and sizes. We can also produce oversized and non-standard timber for your specialised needs.
Dunnage, Bearers, Gluts or Packing Timber
At JCS timber we specialise in timber for the transport and manufacturing industry. Dunnage, bearers, gluts or packing timber are some of the common names for the timber used to stack various products on.
We produce sizes as small as 50×50 mm section up to 400×400 mm section and any combination in between. Our automatic docking machine produces accurate, repetitive results on all sectioned material.
Grooved timbers are also produced to any length in any section to allow your product to be strapped to the bearer.
Truck bearers can be supplied as raw timber or we can dock exactly to length, notch, drill and insert tie down ropes to suit your application.
Structural Timber
We produce and supply structural pine and hardwood for all domestic and commercial projects.
With drying and dressing facilities we have the flexibility and experience to supply you the timber that is right for your project. With our own crane truck we can place your delivery where it is the most suitable for your team.
We want your worksite to be both safe and efficient. With a vast network of contacts in the sawmilling and timber industry, if we don’t produce it we can acquire it for you.
Treated Pine
Our range in outdoor and chemically treated timber, starting from standard garden sleepers to 200×200 mm, Treated pine will compliment your next outdoor project. We can supply CCA, ACQ and other treatments as required.
